well, i dunno if eggs are cheap by you, but here we can buy 2 doz for 
about a buck and a half...eggs can be whipped up into pretty much 
anything!
other than that, pasta w/butter, garlic, pepper, and perhaps some kind of 
cheese (if funds permit), rice, oats (oatmeal...pretty much like porridge 
i guess), and good old bread w/butter and jelly....sheesh! i know i was 
pretty destitute for a while there in my last few months of college, but i 
always managed to scrounge up cash for food...(thank heavens!) i'll keep 
thinking on this one...
