Softpanorama Content License

This document outlines the principles underlying the Softpanorama content and may be redistributed provided it remains unaltered. For legal purposes, this document is the license under which the content of Softpanorama site is made available for use.

LICENSE

1. Terms and Conditions for mirrowing of the site are outside the scope of this license and requre explicit permission and commitment to regular updates.
2. You may copy and distribute exact replicas of the Softpanorama pages on the web or other medium, provided that you conspicuously and appropriately reference on each copy an appropriate copyright notice and disclaimer of warranty; keep intact all the notices that refer to this License and to the absence of any warranty. You may not charge a fee for the content itself directly, or indirectly via advertising banners or for the sole service of providing access to and/or use of the pages on subscription of other basis.

   Note: The Softpanorama site was created for educational purposes only and can contain material the use of which has not always been specifically authorized by the copyright owner. We are making such material available in our efforts to advance understanding of open source and software development as well as related social justice issues. We believe this constitutes a 'fair use' of any such copyrighted material as provided for in section 107 of the US Copyright Law. In accordance with Title 17 U.S.C. THE ENTIRE RISK OF USE OF THE SC IS WITH YOU. SHOULD THE SC PROVE FAULTY, INACCURATE, OR OTHERWISE UNACCEPTABLE YOU ASSUME THE COST OF ALL NECESSARY REPAIR OR CORRECTION.
   • IN NO EVENT UNLESS REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW OR AGREED TO IN WRITING WILL ANY COPYRIGHT HOLDER, OR ANY OTHER PARTY WHO MAY MIRROR AND/OR REDISTRIBUTE THE CONTENT OF SOFTPANORAMA AS PERMITTED ABOVE, BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR DAMAGES, INCLUDING ANY GENERAL, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SC, EVEN IF SUCH HOLDER OR OTHER PARTY HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
